NCC ANNUAL TURKEY GIVE-A-WAY
NCC hosts the Annual Turkey Give-a-Way for over 250 families throughout Yonkers who otherwise do not have the means to share this festive day with their immediate family. Families are treated to free turkeys and groceries for a scrumptious Thanksgiving Day Dinner. This wonderful event is held at Nepperhan Center from 11am – 3pm on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving Day. ANNUAL BOAT RIDE AROUND MANHATTAN
One of our major fundraising events held in September of each year, for the support of our youth programs, and major renovation project currently underway, Join us for an evening of fine dining, great networking opportunities, dancing, and acknowledgment each year of one of Yonkers Lifetime Achievers. ANNUAL COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY
Each year through the generosity of private donors and corporate giving programs, our agency hosts a Community Christmas Party for over 400 youth from throughout our community. Each child receives at least one gift from Santa, and enjoys great food and holiday deserts cooked from the agency’s Culinary Arts staff. ANNUAL REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING CELEBRATION
The commemoration of perhaps the nation’s foremost civil rights leader held on his national holiday each year. This celebration honors community residents that have emulated the life of Dr. King and features each year, one of the nation’s foremost motivational speakers.

NCC FOOD DRIVE
Nepperhan Center has endeavored to address a critical need faced by the homeless population, and those who are economically disadvantaged. Each spring the Center solicits food donations from private donors, corporations, and small business owners enough to feed over 350 families. If you are interested in providing groceries, a cash donation, or to simply volunteer your time, please call Ms. Shanika Williams at (914) 965-0206.
